Sam is a big-city media executive working on a Christmas musical, but things take a turn when her composer quits—and she realizes she's lost her holiday spirit too.  

Desperate to save the show, she teams up with Josh, a charming bartender from Jersey City with a talent for songwriting. As they work together, Sam starts to question her focus on career success over personal happiness.
